What Goes into a Brand Strategy Roadmap

I’ve been asked this question many times: “What goes into a brand strategy roadmap?”

So today, I want to share a checklist of things I typically include in my roadmaps.

Note: The Brand Roadmap is the pdf recap of insights I deliver after an in-person workshop.

Here’s a brief overview of some of the things I may include depending on the goals of my client:

✓ Goals

✓ Schedule

✓ Brand Organization - Flow chart

✓ Brand Attributes

✓ Archetypes + Short write up

✓ Mission Statement

✓ Positioning Statement

✓ Messaging Examples

✓ Look and Feel

✓ Competitor Analysis

✓ Customer Persona(s)

✓ Customer Journey

✓ Messaging examples for each stage of the Customer Journey

✓ Potential Strategic Partnerships

✓ Timeline

✓ Priorities

✓ Partner Referrals

This document takes me between 2-3 weeks to complete after the workshop. Weekly check-ins with my client ensure we are all aligned and that the document is headed in the right direction.

Hope this helps you as you develop your own Brand Roadmap!
