“If we were having this discussion 3 years from today, and you were looking back over those 3 years, what has to have happened in your life both personally and professionally, for you to feel happy with your progress?”
Give yourself 10 minutes to write out as many answers as you can.Prioritize
Choose 3 of your top picks that you can start working towards from now on.
Strategize
Create a fresh page you can see every day. Title it: 'If I say Yes to that, I say No to this'. Add your list of top picks to the page. Any time you're about to take on a new obligation, come back here, breathe deep, and ask yourself if it's worth sacrificing your goals for.
